February Favorites [ part I ]

Valentine's day is just right around the corner, and either you want it or not, you can see the signs everywhere; supermarkets set up extra racks for chocolates, restaurants promote their romantic dinner packages, and almost every public place is decorated with valentines themed decorations. Well, of course as a teenage girl, I have my favourite things that are affiliated with the valentines day vibes. So, I want to share my valentines related and non-related favourites with you, and this post will be divided into two parts, this one is going to be all about the beauty products.

1. Chocolate lip balm by Ocean

Do you notice those chocolate shaped lip balms? Yep, they smell like actual chocolates (which is awesome!) plus they also moisturise your lips and the price is very affordable. This is actually a really great valentine's gift for your friends if you don't want to be mainstream by giving regular chocolates, and actually when I bought them they're sold in a set and it has 9 different shapes( and flavours ), so I kept some for myself and gave some of them to my friends.

2. Lash Perm All Shockcara by Etude House

I'm not a fan of too dramatic or spidery mascaras so this light and curl holding mascara suits me well. Even though some people say that this mascara is too light, I think this is a great pick if you want to go for a natural look, plus it's water proof and affordable.

3. Love you Chérie by Bisous in the colour #3 Dreamy

So, as you can see, this blush has three different colour variations; nude-ish pink, darker pink, and light salmon/orange. I usually apply the bottom two colours to my cheek, and the pink with a hint of orange colour makes my face looks fresh and bright(and also more natural than just a pink blush). I really like this blush because it's not too orange and not too pink and also the packaging is really pretty.

4. Play Pencil 101 by Etude House in the colour 22

This is one of the most popular product by Etude house, because it's very affordable (about $12 each) and multifunctional; you can use it as a lip liner, a blush, an eye shadow, an eye liner, etc. Well, in this case since it's a dark red / burgundy-ish colour, it's preferable to use it as a lip liner or an eyeshadow. I've tried using it as a lip liner and it's really great! It stays on really long and the colour is really pigmented, so if you want to try a dark lip colour and you don't want to buy an expensive lip product, try this instead.

5. Mineralize Glass Lip Gloss by MAC in the colour Be Nice

(Yes, the name is Lip Glass, not Gloss)
If you're not into dark lip colours and bold looks, then maybe this can be an option for you.
It's not too sheer and not too pigmented, also it's not too shiny which is great if you want to go for a natural look. I got this as a gift from a friend and I think she picked a really great colour for me; this colour is soft, slightly coral with a peach undertone. There are many other colours available for this product and you can look it up at MAC's website.

6. Fierce Confidence by Ambercrombie & Fitch

First of all, yes I know it's a men's fragrance but it smells so goooddd.
It smells really fresh and musky (i'm not really a fan of sweet fragrances) and it also smells masculine but not too masculine, which is why I use it. The smell is quite strong and intense at first but it fades eventually but it lasts pretty long. But to be honest, I'm not a fan of the packaging because on the backside of the bottle the picture of the six-pack looks like it is just glued on the bottle which I think makes it look cheap, but overall, I really like this fragrance.

These are my favourite beauty products that I'm using a lot lately. Let me know if you've tried any of the products in the comments! you can also tell me your favourite products!
